Building Architecture Past Present Future
Twenty years ago Anthony Lemann (now McWilliams) spent thousands of hours researching, recording, categorizing and creating a website called A Pictorial History of Brownsville (brownsvilletexasonline.com, site no longer active). It focused on the building architecture of Brownsville from founding, present, future and never built.
It was a huge success but then I had no more time for it so eventually the site closed down. But It is back now! enjoy what was, is and will be as we traverse through time and learn the different styles of architecture that is unique to a border town by the sea...
